The Shrouds, Karsh, who has been unable to find solace since his wife's death, invents a revolutionary and controversial technology called GraveTech. This technology allows the loved ones to observe the bodies of the deceased in their shrouds. One night, many graves, including that of Karsh's wife, are vandalized. Karsh sets out to track down the perpetrators of this act, but suspicions of a larger, more sinister conspiracy also plague him.
