María Margarita, The Movie Teller, is the youngest of four siblings in a family living in a mining town in the Atacama Desert in Chile. For this family, the most special time of the week is Sunday, when they go to the movies to enjoy stories that take them to different worlds, allowing them to escape from their daily lives. The family soon realizes that the little girl has a very special talent: an almost mysterious ability to narrate films. As the girl's extraordinary talent spreads throughout the village, and the fate of her family changes forever, the country will also be changed.
