Moroccan Tariq Alaman approaches the court with the offer of the formula for a super-strong explosive if the musketeers will help him rescue his daughter Samara from Spanish agents who want the formula themselves. The rescue attempt is bungled with several innocent bystanders being killed and the wounded Porthos also taken captive.
